2021 Late Summer Cruise, Penlee Lifeboat Day.

This year is the 40th anniversary of the Penlee Lifeboat Disaster (which actually happened in December) and I guess there was a special effort for this years blessing of the lifeboat and a parade out to sea to lay wreath with lifeboats ancient and modern came to take part. Here are a few pictures.

Privately owned ex lifeboats arrive:

Tamar class lifeboats from Senan (left) and The Lizard.
Penlee's Severn Class all weather boat and Inshore B-Class
Atlantic 85, prior to the event. Both boats are berthed in Newlyn
Harbour just north of the previous boat house at Penlee point.
The Penlee boat heads out to lead the parade.
